What is an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)?
An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) gives your employees confidential access to mental health counselling and specialist support, to help them tackle personal and professional challenges. Businesses use EAPs as a first line of defence against absence, and to support morale, productivity and performance.
At Wisdom Wellbeing, our EAP is confidential and at no cost to employees and their immediate families. It includes short-term counselling, critical incident advice, legal information and financial guidance.

How the UK’s Leading EAP Provider helps your business
Poor mental health is one of the biggest causes of workplace absence. According to the Health and Safety Executive, work-related stress, depression or anxiety led to 22.1 million working days lost in 2024/25. That means higher costs for staff cover, recruitment and lost productivity.
An EAP helps you tackle the problem early. Our clients have seen:
Up to a 59% reduction in depression and anxiety
Up to a 25% reduction in absenteeism
98% of clients renew their EAP with us
